The first restaurant week festival in Sofia in September 2016 was a huge success. It saw more than 6000 people visit 25 participating restaurants. This spring, Sofia Restaurant Week is back with new locations, new menus and some very tempting culinary delights!
Sofia Restaurant Week 2017 presents 17 new restaurants alongside 8 popular choices from the first edition. Join in from 7th-13th May 2017.
SRW 2017 offers a host of experiences, from small family restaurants such as Vino&Tapas and Bagri, to classy venues like Talents, Terrazza di Serdica and Club Pouchkine. The chefs of Nico’las, 33 Gastronauts, Cactus and Petrus have made a name for themselves with innovative dishes, experimental use of products and attention to presentation. Fans of live jazz can try Armenian restaurant Egur, Egur and Italian wine bar Morino Urban Wine & Dine. If you’re looking for a family day out where the children will be welcomed – try Petrus with its kids playroom or Ventana with its beautiful garden. Social Cafe and Esterhazi Bar both offer lunch and dinner in a buzzing, modern setting.
Last year we tried Vino&Tapas and Club Pouchkine during Sofia Restaurant Week, which were both fantastic. We can’t wait to try more new restaurants this time. We’ve already got our eye on a few of the menus so we’ll let you know where we decide to book!
